1. Who’s In
- Open to anyone
- 100% voluntary… but bragging rights are not.
2. Weigh-Ins
- Start: April 13, 2026 (must weigh in or send your starting number to Candace Collins in HR)
- Finish: July 31, 2026
- Same scale, same general clothes… don’t show up in steel-toes one time and flip flops the next.
3. How You Win
- We’re going by % of body weight lost.
- Simple math:
(Weight Lost ÷ Starting Weight) × 100 - Biggest percentage = biggest bragging rights.
4. Keep It Honest
- No funny business, just be honest
- What you weigh is what you weigh
5. Tracking
- We’ll keep track of starting and ending weights.
- Progress updates may be shared periodically… or we might just let people guess who’s sneaking salads.
6. Help Each Other Out
- We’ve got some folks here who’ve already been putting in work and making real progress.
- If that’s you, help the rest out. Share what’s worked, what hasn’t, and any tips or tricks.
- If you’re new to this, don’t be afraid to ask. Nobody’s got it all figured out.
- A little advice can go a long way.
7. Shop Rules Apply
- This is about getting healthier and having some fun.
- Chirping is allowed. Being a jerk is not.
- If someone’s grinding, respect it.
8. Prize
- Winner gets a GRAND PRIZE and permanent bragging rights.
9. Common Sense Clause
- Don’t do anything silly to lose weight.
- If your method sounds like a bad idea, it probably is.
Bottom line: Show up, put in the work, help each other out, and let’s get healthier together!

Your Weekly Intentional Practice: Leave Things Better Than You Found Them
Before you leave a job site, shop, office, vehicle, meeting, or conversation this week, ask yourself: “What is one small thing I can do to leave this better than I found it?”

🎧 Solid Start Podcast | Weekly Devotional
Overview: This week on Solid Start, Greg and Brian are joined by Family Pastor Roy Lanten to talk about one of the most impactful experiences in a student’s spiritual journey: church camp. Together, they discuss why camp matters, how God often uses these focused weeks to transform lives, and why investing in your child’s spiritual growth can have lasting eternal significance.
They also dive into this year’s camp theme, “The Greatest,” inspired by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20. In a world where students often struggle with doubt, insecurity, and questions about their worth, this year’s theme reminds them that their hope is not found in themselves, but in Someone far greater. Through Christ’s authority, presence, and mission, students can live with confidence, purpose, and faith.
Whether you’re a parent considering camp for your child or simply want to hear stories of life change and encouragement, this episode will inspire you to see how God can work in powerful ways when students step away from the distractions of everyday life and lean into Him.
Listen now and discover why camp could be one of the greatest investments you make in your child’s faith journey.

📌 Weekly Photo & Video Contest | Weekly Winner
🏆 Congrats to Jean Merrell!
Jean captured a great moment from the Kennewick BTF Open House, Wade Bonds and his wife, Beth, celebrating a milestone the whole team worked hard to reach.
As Construction Manager, Wade played a key role in getting this project across the finish line. And Beth went above and beyond behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to the event and on the day of, helping make the open house run smoothly.
It takes a full team to pull off a project like this, and we’re proud to say Kennewick came in ahead of schedule and under budget.
A special shoutout to the Bonds family, we appreciate you!
