📌 Important HR Reminders | Action May Be Required!

  • Please take a few minutes to log in to Paycom and complete your acknowledgment of the updated Employee Handbook.
  • While you are there, please double check your current benefits to make sure everything looks correct.

If you notice any issues, or if you are having trouble updating your HSA account, please contact Candice Collins in HR as soon as possible so she can help.

📌 ERP Quest Update: The Trials of Readiness

While the kingdom may seem quiet on the surface, important work is being forged behind the gates. This week, the team is building SAT and UAT testing scripts to make sure the new system works the way our teams need it to before it reaches the field.

At the same time, roles and permissions are being defined so each person has the right access to the tools and information they need for their work. These preparation stages may not be the flashiest part of the quest, but they are essential to a strong launch. When complete, this mission will unlock better testing, safer access, fewer surprises, and a smoother rollout for the entire Merrell Bros. realm.

As a Merrell Bros. employee, you have access to discounts through Tickets at Work, and the new mobile app makes those savings easier to find and use. Just a few examples we found include discounted AMC movie tickets, reduced prices on Six Flags admission, and Sam’s Club memberships for less than the regular rate.

Before making plans or a larger purchase, take a moment to check Tickets at Work. Whether you are planning a trip, going out to eat, attending a concert or sporting event, or looking for something fun to do, this employee benefit could help you save money!

Here are just a few great discount options we found that you may find useful!

Tons of other great savings options are available! For any Colts fans or sports fans, we also noticed that ticket prices were about $20 cheaper on average for the season opener against the Ravens.

📌 Biggest Loser Challenge Update

With just 3 weeks remaining in the challenge and over 200+ pounds lost so far, now is the time to stay focused and finish strong!

Remember, every pound lost matters. Keep building on the healthy habits you’ve developed, encourage your teammates along the way, and don’t forget to submit your weekly numbers to Candice Collins in HR so we can keep the standings up to date. You’ve come too far to quit now!

🏆 Grand Prize: Win a FREE 1-Year YMCA Membership

More details coming soon on YMCA corporate rates with payroll deduction starting in July, so stay tuned for that announcement, and keep up the good work team! Let’s keep getting healthier, together!

1. Who’s In

  • Open to anyone
  • 100% voluntary… but bragging rights are not.

2. Weigh-Ins

  • Start: April 13, 2026 (must weigh in or send your starting number to Candace Collins in HR)
  • Finish: July 31, 2026
  • Same scale, same general clothes… don’t show up in steel-toes one time and flip flops the next.

3. How You Win

  • We’re going by % of body weight lost.
  • Simple math:
    (Weight Lost ÷ Starting Weight) × 100
  • Biggest percentage = biggest bragging rights.

4. Keep It Honest

  • No funny business, just be honest
  • What you weigh is what you weigh

5. Tracking

  • We’ll keep track of starting and ending weights.
  • Progress updates may be shared periodically… or we might just let people guess who’s sneaking salads.

6. Help Each Other Out

  • We’ve got some folks here who’ve already been putting in work and making real progress.
  • If that’s you, help the rest out. Share what’s worked, what hasn’t, and any tips or tricks.
  • If you’re new to this, don’t be afraid to ask. Nobody’s got it all figured out.
  • A little advice can go a long way.

7. Shop Rules Apply

  • This is about getting healthier and having some fun.
  • Chirping is allowed. Being a jerk is not.
  • If someone’s grinding, respect it.

8. Prize

  • Winner gets a GRAND PRIZE and permanent bragging rights.

9. Common Sense Clause

  • Don’t do anything silly to lose weight.
  • If your method sounds like a bad idea, it probably is.

Bottom line: Show up, put in the work, help each other out, and let’s get healthier together!

🎧 Solid Start Podcast | Weekly Devotional

Overview: Every great organization is built one faithful step at a time. This week on Solid Start, Brian and Greg explore how the core values established by Merrell Bros.’ leadership have become the foundation on which the company continues to grow.

Looking to the book of Nehemiah, they examine how the people of Jerusalem rebuilt the city’s walls, not through the efforts of a few, but as each family took responsibility for the section in front of them. It’s a powerful picture of ownership, teamwork, and purpose. Join us as we discuss what it means to build strong “walls” around our own areas of responsibility by living out our core values every day. When each person does their part with excellence and integrity, the entire organization grows stronger.
